Grilled Lettuce

Whoa, this was way better than I ever expected it to be!  Super easy, quick, and tasty.  Credit goes to Jim for cooking this one up.

Difficulty: Easy!
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 5 min
Total Time: 15 min
Yield: 4 servings
Taste: Great!

INGREDIENTS: 

2 heads of romaine lettuce
Extra virgin olive oil
Steak seasoning
Parmigiano-Reggiano, shaved

PROCEDURE:

1) Preheat a grill to medium-high.

2) Rinse and pat dry the lettuce. Cut the 2 heads in half lengthwise.

3) Brush surface with olive oil and sprinkle with steak seasoning

4) Grill about 4 to 5 minutes total, turning occasionally.  Remove from grill

5) Sprinkle Parmigiano-Reggiano over each salad and serve.
