Spinach Artichoke Dip

This is a good recipe for a party. It’s best served warm.

Cook Time: 15 min
Total Time: 45 min
Yield: 12ish servings
Taste: Very good

1 box (10 oz) frozen chopped spinach
1 large (16 oz) sour cream
1 jar (13.75 oz) artichoke puree or quartered artichoke
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/2 t garlic salt
1 bag (2 cups) shredded Italian cheese
Serve with crackers or bread slices

1) Thaw spinach in microwave for 1-2 minutes. Squeeze out excess water.
2) Place spinach in a medium to large saucepan heat to remove any additional water. Add sour cream.
3) While mixture is heating, puree artichoke quarters if you were not able to find pureed artichoke.
4) Mix artichoke puree, oregano, basil, and garlic salt with spinach and sour cream mixture.
5) Add whole bag of shredded cheese and mix well. When cheese is melted and well blended, remove from heat.
6) Serve with bread or crackers.
