Cajun Pork Chops

I was never a fan of plain boring pork chops when I was a kid so I thought I just didn’t like pork chops in general. It wasn’t until I tried someone’s Cajun seasoned pork chop in a restaurant one time to realize that pork chops are good, they just need some flavor. This rub has some good kick to it and might be a bit too hot for those that don’t like the heat. This is another quick, easy recipe

Cajun Pork Chop

Difficulty: Easy
Prep Time: 15 min
Cook Time: 12-16 min
Total Time: 30ish min
Yield: 4 chops
Taste: Good (if you like pork chops)

4 boneless pork chops
1 tbs paprika
1 tsp salt
1 tsp rubbed sage
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Butter or oil if you intend to pan fry

1) If grilling, place grill on medium-high heat.
2) Combine seasonings in a shallow bowl and cover both sides of pork chop with seasoning mixture.
3) If pan frying, melt butter or oil in pan over medium heat.
4) Place chops on grill or in pan. Cook on both sides turning halfway until darkened. Should be about 6-8 minutes per side.
